It will be responsible for promoting innovation and experimentation in the field of vocational training in the area of Plant Canning. This will involve developing experimental actions, among others, in the following lines of work:
- Development and updating of content.
- Methodologies and teaching materials.
- To provide, on an experimental basis, training actions.
- Study of the suitability of installations, equipment and means.
- Training organisation and management techniques: criteria, indicators, quality.
- Collaboration in the elaboration of certificates of professionalism.
- Design and develop further training plans for trainers, experts, counsellors and evaluators.

The department will be coordinated by a technician with experience in planning, development and evaluation of training actions, as well as group coordination skills.
